The Confederacy of Annihilations Halo Reach Clan Field Guide
I hope that this field guide helps some people out with there halo reach skills,this field guide was put togeather for use by the Confederacy of Annihilation,but i welcome anyone else who see this to use the field guide as well.
What are Armor powers/abilities
Armor powers are like classes, you choose one every time you spawn. By default,armor powers are mapped to LB armor abilities have effectively replaced Equipment from Halo 3.
The Loadouts
The Armor Lock power makes you invincible, but also immobile, for a short period of time. When you release the armor lock, a burst of energy knocks back any
nearby enemies. I call this Armor power the full-body chastity belt,i also belive only little kids with no skill use this.Armor Lock is a total defense loadout DO NOT USE WHEN ATTACKING the only attcker trait that Armor Lock has is when you release it you send out a burst of energy that takes down the sheilds of those around you and also push's them back a few feet. The Armor Lock is best uses when you are useing Gravity hammers, focus rifles, grenade launchers,Assault Rifles, DMR or Designated Marksman Rifle, Armour Lock is ok with realy any weapon that you have.Armour Lock is for N0obs in Clan Battles and should neaver be used in Clan Battles.EVER! the Load out titles are Armor Lock,Guard and a few more depending on what gametype your playing.
The Sprint or Scout power gives you the ability to sprint using LB. The burst of speed helps you cover distance faster, and makes you harder to hit.but just a little harder.Sprint is widely used by everyone in almost every game type,It is a good class for Clan Battles as well.Although i mostly use jetpack i will use sprint as well. Sprint is a pretty good class/power but, it does have its limatations, i dont think you should use sprint on multi-leveled maps because you then have to follow the paths as where as if you picked jetpack you can go any where.Sprint is most effectively used with malee weapons such as swords and Gravity hammers, but it is also a great power to have for almost all weapons.
The mighty Jetpack or also called airborne, is my favorite class in all of halo reach.The jetpack is immediately gratifying,I find it essential for getting around quickly on any map.Although it is more of a support class it is still a good class to have for all game types and all weapons.The best map to use this on is Sword Base.In my mind it’s the only class to choose when you simply must get across the map as directly as possible, like when your playing Headhunter, Stockpile and Crazy King or even when you just need to get to a spot on a map to get a weapon, or even preform a flank.But there is only one flaw with jetpack when you use it in open places your just painting a giant target that say "Kill me i am a noob" on your back. This is also one of the bets classes to use when your doing a Clan Battle

Game Types or Playlists
Slayer or Team Slayer.They did not change Team Slayer that much with the exseption of the armor abilitys and the maps so i'm not going to talk about Team Slayer that much...sorry
Team SWAT.Team SWAT is one of my favorite gametypes to play on.The didint change much with Team SWAT either it is still first to 50 one shot head shots. but they did take away the BR from Halo 3 the DMR is still good for this gametype but i would prefer the BR over the DMR any day.
Big Team Slayer or Big Team Battle,i find that BTB is the best for doing some clan matckmakeing because you can have you entire party of 8 playing on the same team.This has every type of game-type imaginable, all played on the biggest maps Halo Reach has to offer you.These games are 8v8 games and they go to 100 although for a month or so they went only to 75 or 50,but now its back to 100 kills wins
Multi-Team, man i have good funny memorys of Halo 3 Multi Team it is still the crazy onslaught of death it used to be. Now that the voting is enabled
be insured you will almost always end up playing a completely noobish gametype every time.The playlist features 12 players, who you CAN bring in with one party. The set up is 6 teams of 2. So it is 2v2v2v2v2v2. This is a blast.
Team Objective.Team Objective is something that is fun with tones of people or just yourself.Team Objective is where i have met some realy nice people and have hade a lot of fun in the past,Team Objective is Objective games.This playlist features 4v4 and focuses on all objective type gametypes like
CTF,OddBall,Territories and hot patato.
Rumbile Pit,for some reson i dont really like rumble pit but it is still a good playlist.You may enter this playlist with all 8 people in your party. This is the free
for all of matchmaking. Eight people and they are all alone for themselves. This will feature a wide variety of game-types all geared towards single
achievements. You will find this gametype turn into a boosting playlist as time goes on. A harvest for credit farmers.Although i think bungie fixed that now but still.
Invasion is one of the newest things to come out in Halo Reach.Invasion is one of the more popular playlist for people,i also get alot of Credits from playing it.It is 6v6 and features a series of territory games that has a hint of CTF at the end. This playlist is something that is not for everyone but i think everyone should check it out its worth it.
MLG is major legue gamming. i have heard alot of bad things about people who play MLG or like MLG some of the funnyer ones are MLG=men lacking girlfriends,personal i dont realy care for the MLG gametype but it is still an ok game type,MGL is the only playlist where you have to find your armor abilitys on the map instead of spawining with them.
Firefight is also a new thing in matchmakeing.This is a playlist in matchmaking that allows you to play firefight with individuals you might not know! It is a 4 player objective mission against the covenant. You can enter by yourself or with however many people up to 4. However many you don't have will be filled with a random from Xbox Live. There are several different types of firefight you can vote on prior to the match. Some include unlimited lives, therefore granting you victory. Some have limited lives. And some are objective based. this playlist also gives you alot of credits it is also in my opinion one of the most No0best playlist in Halo Reach.
The Arena! This is where the hardcore gamers are. If you are enjoying playing scrubs or fighting off elites in firefight, don't mess around with Arena. This is the new
ranked playlist of Halo Reach Matchmaking. It offers two venues of real competitive play. Doubles and Team. The Arena system goes by season, so
your skill will always be where it needs to be. In these seasons they rank you based off of your gameplay in the playlist and then rank you in brackets where
you play people who are your level. You get rated in the playlist by playing at least 3 games a day per playlist you wish to get ranked in. It takes your top 3
scores from each days play and averages them for your final score. So that means you can play with your scrub friends because it is always individual based. You
can play 100 games a day and only win 3 and get a good rating off of those games. Pretty much play these as frequent as possible in hopes of locking in a few well rated games a day to achieve placements in the good brackets. The Arena rating is based off many things including kills,assists,death tally, and if you win or not. Dubbles arena is 2v2 Go in with a friend or by yourself. The gametypes will all be slayer type and played to 25. Unlike other playlist you can only go in with a max of 2
players.And Team Arena is 4v4 Go in with your team and communicate as you play other teams trying to get their good ratings in. All game types will be slayer and played to 50. You can only go in with a maximum of 4 players.
Team Snipers is mostly played on large maps where cross map snipeing is used,they realy didint change much from Halo 3 other then the maps.
infection- infection was ok as a coustom game but the N0obs at bungie have desided to make infection a matchmakeing playlist. I can almost garentee that when you play this you will have at least two squeekers in your game.You can also tell who is a N0ob or not by who plays infection.

One of the biggest changes in the new Halo game - Reach is the added credit system. This credit system was specifically designed towards the majority of
players who like to feel like they are always gaining, or working up for something. You can earn credits for just about everything you do. Whether its
firefight, big team battle, campaign, arena matches, you are always farming credits. They have kind of inserted this as their new ' ranking system'. Now as
far as calling it a new ranking system, I am going to have to call BS. There only justification of ranking comes from the fact that the credits you earn are
also considered experience points which carry you from one rank to the next. Keep in mind that you can't lose these experience points in any circumstance.
And the icing on the cake is that you will earn a considerable amount of Halo Reach credits even whenever you lose!! So if we put this all together a
certain player can play 100 matches and lose 90 of them and still have a better rank (joke) then a stud player who just started.The so-called Ranking system of Halo Reach is GARBAGE!! i would rather be ranked by skill and have a low rank then be the highest in a ranking system like Halo Reach. I have been playing matchmakeing before and i guy on my team sad "wow a Hero, were going to win for sure" after i yelled at him for about 5min i didint play that game my K/D was 0 i did that just to show these little squeeker childreen that Rank in Halo Reach DOES NOT MATTER.... no one cares folks,no one cares. you also earn credits 4 ways listed below.
Game Complete - Simply finishing the game. Halo Reach awards these credits or cr to encourage people who are leaving the game to stay until the end. Yes, even if your team is getting killed, this should encourage you to stick through it. Besides if you leave the game you won't be awarded any credits at all!
Performance - This number is based off of your k/d ratio and # of assist and deaths. I don't have an absolute calculation for it, but I know that the better you did during the game, the more Performance credits you will get. This number is significantly higher if you win.
Commendations - Pretty much your medals. When you get medals in the middle of the game you might notice a small + 6cr or +4cr come up. These are all tallied together to bring you your amount of credits earned in commendations.
Slot Machine - This is still a mystery. I do however know some aspects about this. Pretty much a certain amount of credits are added up at the end of the game by some method and they are randomly distributed to the players on the team. If you are partied up with a group of players you will all receive the exact same amount of slot machine credits.However, If you are going in solo you could potentially earn more or less. I have had matches where I earned 700 + credits and some where I earned 50 credits. This is not performance based at all.
